Summit Bog, a Peat Bog in Southern Ontario, Canada

There is an interesting bog located near Ancaster, Ontario where you have a small swampy bog mostly filled with Tamarack/Larch trees. In the fall/winter you have what appears to be dead standing trees (they drop their needles over winter), mixed in with some year-round evergreens. But inbetween that is a smaller layer of bushes which have bright red berries on them in the fall. It makes for some interesting scenery, considering this is the type of habitat is normally found far north, it is not usually see in the south like this.
